Mango Lassi and Green Tea Punch

Okay, so right now I'm flipping through my Home Economics Textbook (Teen Style 2 by Wong Ping and Ling Chai Joo) and I'm hunting down some good recipes. Well then lets see here... Snacks, Appetizers, Meals, Desserts and Beverages... I'm more of a dessert person, but I'll let you decide (vote @ the Poll on your left). Lets start off with beverages then.

Mango Lassi

1 mango
4-6 ice cubes
300g plain yogurt
1 tablespoon sugar
2 tablespoons mango cordial
100ml water

Remove flesh from mangoes.
Blend all ingredients until smooth.
You can also use other fresh fruits like
banana, pineapple or honeydew.
Makes 2

Tea, though ridiculed by those who are naturally coarse
in their nervous sensibilities will always be the favorite
beverage of the intellectual.                                       ~ Thomas de Quincey

Green Tea Punch

100g Honey dew, chopped
1 can soda water
300ml water
2 green tea bags
1 tablespoon sugar

Boil water,
Add in tea bags and sugar.
Mix the rest of the ingredients together.
Do not blend.
Chill or add crushed ice.

See? SO simple. Yea those are all the beverage recipes they provide. So, there will be more soon, don't forget to vote! See you next week.
